Don’t Believe Iran, Iran Claims It Shot Down Two Israeli F-35 Jets

Iran Claims It Shot Down Two Israeli F-35 Jets: Truth, Propaganda, or Information Warfare? “Has Iran shot down an F-35 fighter jet?” Not just one—did it happen twice?”

F-35 JET

Here’s the claim: Iran has officially stated that they shot down two Israeli fighter jets.
According to Iran, not only did they down two Israeli jets, but they specifically claim they were F-35s. Some Iranian officials are even saying they captured an Israeli pilot.

Ever since Iran started making these claims, articles around the world have begun popping up. Headlines like “Iran shoots down two Israeli fighter jets” went viral.
Iranian media is pushing this narrative, but the funniest part to me is that even Chinese media, whose credibility I’d honestly rate as 0/10, picked up this fake news, claiming an F-35 had crashed.

Don’t Believe Iran :

The image that went viral? It’s AI-generated. Someone—maybe Iranian or a supporter—shared it on social media.
Chinese network CGTN also picked up the fake news. The Global Times published that Iran shot down two fighter jets.

Naturally, Western media reacted, Chinese media reacted, and Iranian media was already in overdrive—so how could Indian media be left behind? Indian news outlets also jumped in with headlines like:
“Iran claims it shot down two Israeli F-35s.”

Now look, Iran used a Pakistan-style strategy here—just say something loud and confidently at first. No proof, no evidence, no image, no video, nothing.
Even about the allegedly captured Israeli pilot—there’s no update, no name, no photo.

But Iran kept repeating the claim, and eventually, it spread globally in the media. Now, the burden shifts to Israel to prove that no jets were downed.

F-35 JET CRASHED

There’s a clear global interest in the F-35. It’s considered the world’s best fighter jet. Americans themselves claim that even S-400s can’t detect it — its stealth tech is that advanced.

But if Iran’s claim turns out to be true—that they shot down an F-35 using an S-300—then it seriously damages the F-35’s brand and reputation.

F-35 JET

The S-300 is an old Soviet-era air defense system—dating back to the 1970s. These days, hardly anyone buys it.
Only Russia hands it off to a few poor countries.

Countries like India, Turkey, and China are now buying the S-400, and some are even waiting for the S-500.
So, if an old S-300 managed to take down a cutting-edge F-35, it’s a huge shock.

Israel quickly issued a denial, saying the reports are fake. No F-35 has been shot down, and no female pilot has been captured.

So now we have two competing narratives:

  • Iran’s claim
  • Israel’s denial

But since some anti-Israel journalists side with Iran, their version gets more traction and goes viral.

F-35 JET

Even Wikipedia got updated, stating:
“In June 2025, two Israeli F-35s were shot down by Iran.”
Even though it’s unconfirmed.

Anyone can edit Wikipedia, of course, but this shows how serious the information warfare is between Iran and Israel.

Now, if you ask me who I believe—honestly, without proof, I can’t say anything for sure.

Look at Israel’s track record—sometimes they hide the truth to maintain public morale. Pakistan does the same.

During the Kargil War, Pakistan even disowned its soldiers.
India’s CDS openly admitted losses, but Pakistan never did.
Israel might act similarly—even if an F-35 were lost, they’ll keep denying it unless undeniable proof comes out.

A fighter jet crash, especially one like the F-35, is not just a military incident. It impacts global perception, future arms sales, and international reputation.

Also, remember—the US gave Israel F-35s at subsidized rates back in 2016.
There’s even a rumor that when Israel got the F-35s, they flew directly over Iranian territory, just to send a message:
“We can strike whenever we want.”

So what’s the truth?
That’s for you to decide. Let us know in the comments—who do you believe more: Iran or Israel?

And one more shocking thing I saw on social media—someone wrote:
“Elon Musk, if you want to bring down Iran’s current regime, use Starlink. Give the Iranian people free internet, and they’ll start protesting themselves.”

They even gave the operation a name: Operation Rising Lion.

Will Elon Musk use Starlink to beam internet into Iran?
His reply was, “The beams are on.”

That’s exactly why China and Russia haven’t allowed Starlink in their countries.
